I DON’T SUPPORT NPP FOR MONEY – Joseph Amankwaah

A founding Member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Atwima-Nwabiagya Constituency of the Ashanti region, Mr. Joseph Amankwaah has stated that he does not support the NPP because of money but rather the great NPP and the country.
Speaking to this newspaper in Kumasi on Friday, Mr. Amankwaah who is popularly known as “Akintola” indicated that if the country will see prosperity and progress the people in it have to be faithful by speaking the truth at all times.
According o him, if the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) does what is not good he would say it, just as if his party (NPP) does same, he won’t shield it because no person will bring forth a child and name him “LUCIFER”.
He indicated that what God has done for Mpasaasoman through him needs special thanks to the almighty God and that anyone who associates him or herself to a particular political party because of money is a traitor and not to be taken serious in society.
Mr. Amankwaah pointed out to Hon. Kennedy Agyepong that supporting somebody blindly is bad; stressing that it is only bad people who take something in secrecy and this is written in the holy book of Timothy 18: 23. “We have to always think before we come out to challenge something,” he said.
Mr. Amankwaah showered praises on President Akufo-Addo because he has always been truthful to Ghanaians like ‘Abronye’ Mr. Kwame Baffor; the late Asantehemaa, Nana Afia Kobi Ampem II and the late Nana Agyeman Prempeh II for which reason every Ghanaian has to emulate them to move the country forward.
