King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II Pledges to Promote Children’s Interest


New Ga Mantse, Tackie Teiko Tsuru II known in private life as Dr. Kelvin Tackie Abia, has stated that among his priorities as Ga Mantse is to promote the interest of children in Ga State through education.

Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II disclosed this at a party he organized for children in Ga Mashie as part of the strong attachment he has with children.

Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II together with the children went on unity walk through the principal streets of Ga Mashie.

According to him, children are the future leaders and the Ga State can achieve progress only when its children are given good foundation through education.

He indicated that funds to cater for children’s education would be established to support children in Ga State and called for unity for the greater good of the Ga State.

He averred that other polices he would initiate for the state include people and unity, education and technology, health and environment, enterprise and entrepreneurial initiatives, strategic partnerships, communication and public relations.

He revealed that there is going to be an Annual Ga Mantse Development summit/lecture for experts and technocrats to brainstorm on key areas of development in the Ga state.

The Ga Mantse palace, he said, would also invest in guided tour buses in Accra to support and promote tourism in Ghana.

He said, “There would also be Ga Mantse meets the people initiative to actively seek investors for the different sectors of the Ga economy.”

This, he said, would include other initiatives such as Ga Mantse monthly Radio address to the Ga people, Ga Mantse palace monthly media briefings, monthly environmental sanitation drives (linked to the current Government’s initiative)
